Fully-licensed central processing plant in Karnes County, Texas (northwest of Karnes City). Acts as the hub of UEC's South Texas ISR hub-and-spoke operations. Constructed in 1978, refurbished in 2008. Physical capacity 2.0 mlb U3O8/year (1.5 mlb without modifications), licensed for 4.0 mlb U3O8/year. Dryer cycle ~40 hours with 8-10 drum loading capacity. One permitted/constructed waste disposal well; second permitted but not yet drilled. Cumulative processing 578,000 lbs U3O8 since November 2010.
