Single-shaft underground gold mine exploiting the South Reef to some 2,000m below surface. Located south of Krugersdorp, 30km west of Johannesburg. Property bounded by the Roodepoort fault and other faults. Acquired by Harmony in January 2000. Ore processed at the mine's carbon-in-pulp plant. 207 and 212 levels project underway to extend mining to depth with new ore handling system and shaft infrastructure upgrades.
