United States refining and chemical manufacturing rollup: six sites carrying 1,967 kbd of ExxonMobil-share refining capacity at year-end 2025 together with 6.9 Mt/yr ethylene, 6.0 Mt/yr polyethylene and 1.8 Mt/yr polypropylene. The four Gulf Coast and Midwest refineries (Joliet, Baton Rouge, Baytown, Beaumont) are wholly-owned, while Corpus Christi is a 50 percent interest and Mont Belvieu is a wholly-owned polyethylene plant. It is the largest of ExxonMobil's five manufacturing regions by both refining and chemical capacity and the only one whose refinery throughput grew in each of the last three years. In 2025 two new advanced recycling units were added at Baytown, tripling that site's recycling capacity.
