Description
As at 31 December 2025
Middle East refining and chemical manufacturing rollup: two Saudi Arabian sites, each held through a 50 percent interest, carrying 200 kbd of ExxonMobil-share refining capacity at year-end 2025 plus 1.7 Mt/yr ethylene, 1.4 Mt/yr polyethylene and 0.2 Mt/yr polypropylene. Yanbu on the Red Sea coast is the region's only refining site; Al Jubail on the Persian Gulf is chemicals only. It is the smallest region by refining capacity but carries more ethylene capacity than Canada, Europe and the Middle East region's own refining scale would suggest. The 10-K's regional refinery throughput table does not publish a Middle East line, reporting an 'Other' region instead.
