Description
As at 31 December 2025
Canadian refining and chemical manufacturing rollup: three sites held through a 69.6 percent interest in Imperial Oil, carrying 434 kbd of ExxonMobil-share refining capacity at year-end 2025 plus 0.3 Mt/yr ethylene and 0.5 Mt/yr polyethylene at Sarnia. Strathcona in Alberta is the largest of the three and hosts the Strathcona Renewable Diesel project, which started up during 2025 and is designed to use low-carbon hydrogen, locally sourced and grown feedstocks and ExxonMobil's proprietary catalyst; the 10-K publishes no capacity figure for that unit. Regional refinery throughput has been broadly flat across 2023-2025.
