Description
As at 31 December 2025
100%-owned underground PGM operation on the Eastern Limb of the Bushveld Complex, 50km south-west of Burgersfort in Limpopo, under a mining right covering 97km2. Infrastructure comprises three decline shafts (Lebowa, Borwa and Der Brochen), a concentrator with a chrome recovery plant and an associated tailings facility, using a fully mechanised bord-and-pillar method on the Merensky and UG2 reefs. The Der Brochen life-extension project (begun early 2022), replacing infrastructure closures at Lebowa, is progressing well with the decline shaft ramping up into 2026; the mine reported 107% and 9% improvements in development metres and immediately available Ore Reserves respectively. Achieved 11 million fatality-free shifts (14 years) in 2025.
