TotalEnergies-operated deepwater discovery on Block PEL56 (TotalEnergies 45.25%) in the Orange Basin offshore Namibia. The Venus-1X exploration well announced a significant discovery of light oil and associated gas in April 2022; appraisal (Venus-1A) and production tests followed, with development studies ongoing.
