As at 31 December 2025
TotalEnergies-operated onshore LNG development in the Cabo Delgado province of northern Mozambique (Offshore Area 1), comprising two onshore trains with a total nominal capacity of 13.1 Mt/y, liquefying gas produced by the Golfinho and Atum fields. FID was taken in June 2019. Following the April 2021 force majeure due to the security situation at the Afungi site, the force majeure was lifted at end-2025, paving the way for the project to resume.
