World-class copper porphyry project in Cajamarca, Peru, acquired by Southern Copper in June 2018; 18 mining concessions totaling 4,051 ha. Inferred resources of 2,287.9 Mt at 0.43% Cu. Expected to produce 225,000 t/yr of copper (with molybdenum, gold and silver by-products) at competitive cash cost over an initial mine life of more than 25 years; ~$2.5B investment with start-up expected by 2032. Geological information review audited under S-K 1300; company intends to estimate mineral reserves and develop the mine plan next; preoperational period extended by three additional years by agreement with Peruvian authorities.
