Open-pit gold mine transitioning to stockpile processing after open-pit mining ended in June 2025. Located in eastern Senegal in the Kedougou region. Owned 90% by Resolute via Senegalese subsidiary Petowal Mining Company S.A.; the Government of Senegal holds the remaining 10%. The carbon-in-leach processing plant has a 2.1 Mtpa installed capacity comprising a crushing circuit, 8 MW SAG mill and gold extraction circuit. 2025 production was 100,895 oz Au at AISC US$1,269/oz from stockpile feed with strong recoveries (91.7%). Stockpile processing is expected to continue through end-2027 at production levels comparable to 2026 guidance of 55-65 koz at AISC US$1,600-1,800/oz. Mine life extension is being pursued via the Mako Life Extension Project (MLEP) targeting the Tomboronkoto and Bantaco satellite deposits within trucking distance of the mill.
