Vanscoy potash mine in Saskatchewan. Built by Cominco Ltd. 1969; transferred to Agrium 1995. Conventional underground mining of Patience Lake Member A Zone. Major expansion completed 2015 brought nameplate to 3.0 Mtpa. 116-year mine life remaining (374 Mt reserves at 3.215 Mt/yr - lowest mining rate longest reserves). 1970 major inflow halted production 2 years (legacy event). 24.3% mill feed grade.
