Battery-anode-material plant under development in Bécancour, Québec, intended to transform natural flake graphite (initially from Matawinie) into coated spherical purified graphite (CSPG) active anode material for lithium-ion batteries. The facility is the downstream pillar of the company's fully integrated 'mine-to-anode' strategy aimed at supplying North American and European electric-vehicle and energy-storage battery makers with a low-carbon, regionally produced anode material.
