Obi Island Nickel Operations

Integrated laterite nickel operations on Obi Island, North Maluku, Indonesia, where the company conducts open-cast nickel ore mining across its own and subsidiary concessions and feeds an integrated downstream complex. Mining draws from two active laterite nickel projects within the concessions of the company and subsidiary PT Gane Permai Sentosa, plus two additional concessions with nickel prospects held by PT Jejak Mineral Persada and PT Gane Tambang Sentosa. Ore is processed through RKEF smelters (PT Megah Surya Pertiwi and PT Halmahera Jaya Feronikel) producing ferronickel and HPAL plants (PT Halmahera Persada Lygend and PT Obi Nickel Cobalt) producing mixed hydroxide precipitate and nickel-cobalt battery materials. The combined estimate is reported as a single aggregate across the concessions; per-mine grade and contained-metal breakdowns are not separately disclosed.
