Labrador Iron Ore Royalty Corporation (LIORC) is a single-asset royalty company holding the 7% GORR, the 10¢/t commission, and a 15.10% equity stake in Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOC). IOC operates the Carol Lake open-pit iron-ore mine, concentrator, and pellet plant at Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador, with rail shipment to the Pointe-Noire terminal in Sept-Îles, Quebec via the Quebec North Shore and Labrador Railway. IOC produces high-purity iron-ore concentrate and pellets. Operated by Rio Tinto.
