Description
Centrus's technology and advanced-manufacturing center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where the company manufactures gas centrifuge components for its uranium enrichment cascades. In December 2025 Centrus began domestic centrifuge manufacturing at the facility to support commercial LEU enrichment activities at Piketon. The company is re-equipping the manufacturing property under the §48C Qualifying Advanced Energy Project Credit, for which the IRS granted a $62.4 million credit allocation in January 2025 based on a qualified investment of $208.0 million, recreating a domestic enrichment supply chain.
