Open-pit gold mine located approximately 330 km northeast of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Mining activities predominantly target Phase 6 and 7 and the Lao pit adjacent to the Essakane Main Zone. The security situation in Burkina Faso continues to pressure supply chains, requiring proactive measures to ensure the safety of personnel and operational continuity. The government of Burkina Faso increased its ownership interest from 10% to 15% effective June 2025.
