Description
Former Pierre Beauchemin (Eldrich-Flavel) gold mine located 15 km northwest of Rouyn-Noranda, Québec. Property composed of 8 contiguous mining cells totalling 235.55 hectares in Duprat Township. Gold mineralisation is associated with pyrite disseminations within quartz-carbonate veins hosted in a highly silicified intrusive (Flavrian Pluton). Produced 4,479.4 kg Au and 235 kg Ag between 1955 and 1993. 3D modelling of the former mine undertaken by Globex in 2024 identified several unmined zones of interest.
