Crude oil and natural gas pipeline transportation and handling in the deepwater Gulf of America. Operating offshore crude oil pipeline systems total approximately 1,536 miles with aggregate design capacity of approximately 2,094 MBbl/d; operating offshore natural gas pipeline systems total approximately 759 miles with approximately 2,200 MMcf/d of design capacity. The segment also includes interests in two offshore hub platforms with aggregate processing capacity of approximately 495 MMcf/d of natural gas and 123 MBbl/d of crude oil, plus junction and service platforms. Revenue is fee-based, limiting direct commodity-price exposure.
