FCX U.S. Copper Mines

Segment rollup of FCX's seven U.S. copper operations - Morenci, Bagdad, Safford (incl. Lone Star), Sierrita and Miami in Arizona, and Chino and Tyrone in New Mexico - plus a copper smelter and rod mill in Miami, Arizona and a copper refinery and rod mill in El Paso, Texas. Certain mines also produce molybdenum concentrate, gold and silver; U.S. copper mines hold 58% of consolidated P&P molybdenum reserves. 2025 leach operations placed 609,400 t/d in stockpiles (0.21% Cu) producing 832 Mlb; mill operations ran 311,700 t/d (0.31% Cu, 83.6% recovery) producing 665 Mlb. 2026e: copper sales ~1.4 blb; avg unit net cash costs ~$2.96/lb.
