Deep Mill Level Zone block-cave underground mine below the depleted Deep Ore Zone mine at the 2,590-meter elevation; downward continuation of the Ertsberg East Skarn system and neighboring Ertsberg porphyry. 174 open drawbells at Dec 31, 2025; hydraulic fracturing used to manage rock stresses and pre-condition the cave. ~327 pieces of mobile equipment feeding two gyratory crushers. Restarted in late October 2025 after the September 2025 district mud rush incident (DMLZ itself unaffected). Ore milled averaged 54,300 t/d in 2025, 64,900 t/d in 2024, 75,900 t/d in 2023.
