Wholly owned open-pit copper complex in Grant County, New Mexico, ~15 miles east of Silver City; in operation since 1910. Porphyry copper deposit with adjacent copper skarns; leachable oxide, secondary sulfide and millable primary sulfide mineralization. Concentrator with 36,000 t/d design milling capacity and a 150 Mlb/yr SX/EW plant fed by ROM leaching. Operation encompasses ~132,700 acres. Cobre is included in the operation. Net PP&E $0.7B.
