Project information
Description
Past-producing Kambalda-style massive/net-textured/disseminated nickel sulphide property within the Shaw Dome. Historically mined ~1Mt grading 1.45% Ni between 1973 and 1978; >500 kt @ 1.45% Ni reported in reserve when mining was suspended in 1978 (MP084.005; Resident Geologist Report; Timmins Press 1978a). Existing mine infrastructure includes a 440 m deep shaft and 8 main development levels on EVNi property. Multiple perched zones of disseminated nickel mineralization, open in multiple directions. 2024 EVNi drill program (Langmuir #2) intersected 18.5 m grading 1.07% Ni including 7.5 m at 1.67% Ni below historic mining; drill hole EV24-L04 returned intercepts grading 1.07% Ni to as high as 5.11% Ni. Langmuir South relatively unexplored; significant intercept 1.76% Ni over 65 ft (19.8 m). 2026 diamond drill program on Langmuir South and Langmuir #2 underway. No current NI 43-101 compliant resource on this zone; historical estimate not treated as current.
