Heavy mineral sands placer mine on coastal dunes of Senegal. Mining concession awarded to MDL (2007) transferred to GCO (2008), 25-year term to Nov 2, 2032 (renewable). Contains high quantities of titaniferous minerals (ilmenite, rutile, leucoxene) and zircon. Mines using dredger + conventional dry mining. Achieved IRMA 50 performance level in 2025. 14-year LOM from Jan 1, 2026 (3 years shorter than prior year due to updated geological model and price projections).
