Eni's equity-accounted European upstream interests held through the 63%-owned Var Energi in Norway and the 36%-owned Ithaca Energy in the United Kingdom. The 2025 start-up of the Balder X oilfield (Var Energi) and the Johan Castberg field supported production. Equity-accounted Rest of Europe held net proved reserves of 381 mmbbl liquids and 1,229 bcf gas (617 mmboe).
