Wexpro — project

Cost-of-service natural gas development and production business acquired with Questar on May 31, 2024, developing and producing natural gas reserves on behalf of Enbridge Gas Utah, Enbridge Gas Wyoming and Enbridge Gas Idaho under the Wexpro Agreements with the states of Utah and Wyoming. Operations stretch from the northern Greater Green River Basin at Pinedale, Wyoming, through the Vermillion Basin of Wyoming and Colorado, to the Uinta Basin of Utah. Production supplies up to 55% of the utility's annual demand (up to 65% if conditions met), providing a physical hedge against commodity price volatility. Most current and future production requires hydraulic-fracture stimulation of tight-gas-sand and shale reservoirs; the annual drilling program is set by forecasting utility consumption needs.
