Natural gas transmission system transporting processed natural gas from facilities primarily in northeastern BC to markets in BC and the US Pacific Northwest, on approximately 2,950 kilometers (1,833 miles) of pipeline with associated mainline compressor stations, regulated by the CER under cost-of-service regulation. On July 1, 2025 assets were transferred to Westcoast Energy Limited Partnership; on July 2, 2025 the Stonlasec8 First Nations Partnership (38 First Nations) invested ~$736 million for a 12.47% redeemable noncontrolling interest. T-North (Aspen Point, Birch Grove) and T-South (Sunrise) expansions underway or sanctioned to serve growing demand and west coast LNG exports.
