Description
As at 19 August 2023
99%-optioned Iska Iska polymetallic epithermal-porphyry complex in the Sud Chichas Province of Potosi Department, southern Bolivia, ~48 km north of Tupiza city (Bolivian Tin Belt; Western Cordillera metallogenic district, near Cerro Rico de Potosi, Chorolque and San Vicente). Property comprises 36 cuadrĂculas (~900 ha) held via January 2020 option with Empresa Minera Villegas SRL. The deposit is a Miocene caldera-hosted Bolivian polymetallic porphyry-epithermal system with two domains: a higher-tonnage Polymetallic (Zn-Pb-Ag) domain and a Tin (Sn-Ag-Pb) domain. The Initial Mineral Resource (effective Aug 19, 2023; Micon International) covers 560 Mt Polymetallic OP+UG plus 110 Mt Tin OP, all Inferred. Higher-grade Polymetallic core: 132 Mt @ 24.3 g/t Ag, 1.11% Zn, 0.50% Pb at US$25/t NSR cut-off. Preliminary optioneering envisions 12 Mtpa bulk-tonnage open pit with flotation circuit plus pre-concentration ore sorting (effectively doubling feed grade). Approximately 1.4 km diameter pit, ~750 m deep, strip ratio ~1:1. No reserves estimated; no production to date.
