Major surface gold tailings retreatment operation of Ergo Mining Proprietary Limited (wholly-owned DRDGOLD subsidiary) extending from central Johannesburg to Ekurhuleni in the east. Comprises one CIL metallurgical processing plant (Ergo plant, 1.9Mtpm capacity), two milling/pump stations (Knights, City Deep) and the active Brakpan TSF (1.65Mtpm). Material reclaimed from City Deep (~500ktpm), Knights (~400ktpm), Rooikraal, Benoni/Van Dyk, 5L27 and Crown Tailings Complex. Crown Complex (272.0Mt @ 0.234g/t) reclassified from Mineral Resource to Mineral Reserve in FY2025, extending life of mine from 18 to 22 years. Vision 2028 capital projects: Daggafontein TSF resumption (120Mt capacity, 20-year life, 500ktpm; Q1 FY2027), 21km Brakpan-Daggafontein dual pipeline (well advanced), and recommissioning of adjacent Withok TSF (310Mt capacity, 1.3Mtpm, 20-year life, authorisation phase). 60MW solar PV + 160MWh BESS commissioned November 2024.
