Description
As at 31 December 2023
Chesapeake Gold's primary asset in Durango State, Mexico — one of the largest in-situ undeveloped gold-silver deposits in the Americas, where mineralization occurs as sulphide veinlets and disseminations in both intrusive and sedimentary host rocks (roughly 80% of measured and indicated tonnes are sediment-hosted, 20% intrusive-hosted). An updated 2023 mineral resource estimate (replacing the estimate in the 2023 Amended PEA; block model by Marc Jutras of Ginto Consulting) is reported within a floating-cone pit shell at US$1,600/oz gold and US$20/oz silver. The company is developing a proprietary precious-metal oxidation process to apply at Metates to de-risk the project and unlock value. Resources are not reserves; the company is at the exploration and evaluation stage and generates no mining revenue.
