bp-operated deepwater oil production platform in the US Gulf of America (Mad Dog field area), part of bp's Gulf of America growth hub. The Argos Southwest Extension project started up in August 2025, seven months ahead of schedule and developed in about 25 months from appraisal to first oil — a record for bp. Argos has a gross production capacity of up to 140,000 boe/d.
