Description
ANTAM's nickel business segment, comprising laterite nickel ore mining in Southeast Sulawesi and North Maluku and ferronickel smelting, principally at the Pomalaa plant in Southeast Sulawesi. The segment produces nickel ore (saprolite) for domestic and export sale and ferronickel, and underpins ANTAM's participation in Indonesia's nickel downstreaming, including battery-materials initiatives. In 2024 the segment produced 20,103 tonnes of nickel in ferronickel and 9.94 million wet metric tonnes of nickel ore.
