Description
As at 31 December 2025
State-of-the-art copper smelter and Precious Metals Refinery located near Benete Port, approximately 18 km from the Batu Hijau mine. Commissioning commenced in 2024 with first copper cathode produced in March 2025 and first refined gold in July 2025. Facility processes copper concentrate from Batu Hijau to produce LME Grade A copper cathode, refined gold, refined silver, sulfuric acid, and selenium. Powered by a dedicated 450 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant.
