Agbaou Mine

Operating open-pit gold mine located 20 km from the Bonikro Mine. Located 100 km south of Yamoussoukro, accessed via sealed highway with grid power supplied via a 90 kV transmission line from the Hiré substation. Property covers a 334 km2 exploitation permit. Hosted within the Birimian Baoulé-Mossi Domain, associated with the Oumé-Féttékro greenstone belt. Commenced commercial production in January 2014 and acquired by the current operator in March 2021. The conventional CIL process plant has a capacity of 2.65 Mtpa on blended feed. Exploration is focused on extending mineralization beneath and between existing pits to increase mine life.
