Mobile Bay Properties — project

W&T's most material individual operating area, a set of natural-gas-rich leasehold interests, wells and units located off the coast of Alabama in state coastal and federal Gulf of America waters approximately 70 miles south of Mobile, Alabama. For 2025 the Mobile Bay Properties contributed approximately 36% of W&T's production and 20% of total revenue, making them the company's single largest production concentration. During 2025 the properties were periodically shut in due to compressor problems and downstream operated-plant issues, deferring approximately 686 MBOE of production based on pre-shut-in rates. Reserves and detailed volumes for Mobile Bay are reported within the consolidated Gulf of America totals rather than separately.
