Description
Natural gas properties in the South Mansfield area of the Haynesville Shale region transferred to Williams in November 2020 through a customer bankruptcy resolution; 50% of existing wells and wellbore rights were sold to a third-party operator in 2021. In October 2025 Williams agreed to sell its interests for consideration of $398 million with additional contingent consideration possible through 2029; the transaction closed January 30, 2026 (pending at December 31, 2025).
