Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile S.A. (SQM) is a Chilean-listed multi-commodity producer (NYSE: SQM) of lithium and derivatives, iodine and derivatives, potassium chloride/sulfate, specialty plant nutrients (potassium nitrate) and industrial chemicals. SQM's mining operations are concentrated in Chile's First (Tarapacá), Second (Antofagasta) and Third regions plus the Mt. Holland project in Western Australia (50% JV with Wesfarmers). In May 2025 SQM signed a partnership agreement with Codelco for lithium development in the Salar de Atacama for the 2031-2060 period. Total 2025 strategic project capex: US$876m. Record lithium sales achieved in 2025; iodine sales exceeded 14,500 metric tons in 2025.
