Mt. Holland is an integrated hard-rock lithium project located ~100 km south of Southern Cross, Western Australia. SQM holds a 50% interest through SQM Australia under a joint venture with Wesfarmers (originated with Kidman Resources, acquired by Wesfarmers; JV agreement dated December 21, 2017). The project consists of an open-pit mine and concentrator plant at Mount Holland with capacity of 383 ktpa of dry spodumene concentrate at 5.5% Li2O, and the Kwinana refinery (Lot 15, Mason Road, Kwinana) currently in commissioning with 50 ktpa LiOH capacity, plus non-production infrastructure. Spodumene concentrate production began in 2023; 2025 production was 329.6 thousand dry metric tons (2024: 232.4kt; 2023: 15.0kt). Kwinana achieved first production of lithium hydroxide in 2025 and is expected to complete ramp-up by 2027.
