Demonstration-scale mid-stream processing plant under construction at the Pilgangoora Operation in joint venture with Calix Limited (PLS 55%), aiming to establish the world's first industrial-scale electric spodumene calciner with potential to decarbonise one of the most carbon-intensive processes in the battery materials supply chain, reduce transport volumes and cost, and create more value at the mine site. Construction recommenced in the March 2025 quarter following award of $15M in grant funding from the Western Australian Government; the project is also supported by a $20M grant from the Australian Government. Construction was approximately 80% complete at FY25 year end, with completion scheduled for the December 2025 quarter. FY25 project costs of $19.9M were expensed.
