Austin Chalk formation asset located primarily in Brazos, Burleson, Fayette, Grimes, Lee, Milam, Robertson, and Washington Counties, Texas. The Austin Chalk produces along a NE-to-SW trend roughly parallel to the Texas Gulf Coast. Two major historical drilling cycles (late-1970s/early-1980s vertical wells; 1990s horizontal wells); recent improvements in drilling and completion technologies have unlocked new development opportunities. Magnolia's primary growth area in 2025, with multiple bolt-on acquisitions ($66.6M in 2025; $165.4M in 2024) consolidating leasehold. Natural gas is gathered and processed under acreage dedications with three third-party midstream companies. Saltwater disposal wells handle a portion of water production.
