Project information
Description
Non-consumptive water rights over a section of the Rocin River, Putaendo, Fifth Region, Chile, acquired from Turnbrook Mining Limited in 2014 for 3,750,000 shares valued at $8,250,000, together with engineering and other studies for a potential hydroelectric facility with an expected installed capacity of 28 to 30 MW. Held indirectly through subsidiary Rocin SPA and a wholly-owned Rocin Subsidiary incorporated to own, develop, build and operate the facility. The 2014 development and financing agreement with Icafal Inversiones S.A. was terminated in 2017, with all studies transferred to Rocin; reimbursement of third-party study costs is due to Icafal only if such studies are used once the facility is in operation.
