Joint venture with a private UK partner covering an exploration licence package up to 16,000 km2 in the Chu-Sarysu Copper Basin, Kazakhstan, announced February 2025. Ivanhoe is committed to fund $18.7 million in exploration over an initial two-year period through to February 2027, with earn-in rights to increase ownership up to 80% over time. Greenfield sediment-hosted copper exploration play.
