Description
Proposed regional-scale seawater and desalinated water business to address water scarcity in the Huasco Valley Region. Stage 1 involves a 20-year seawater supply to the Costa Fuego project, with an MOU executed for up to 500 L/s. Stages 2 and 3 outline a potential desalinated water supply expansion to support regional mining, community, and agriculture. March 2025 PFS outlines a robust business case with a Stage 1 post-tax NPV8% of US$122M and a Stage 2 post-tax NPV8% of US$977M.
