Öksüt — gold mine

High-sulphidation epithermal gold deposit comprising the Keltepe and Güneytepe open pits. Located 295 km southeast of Ankara and 48 km south of Kayseri, with power supplied from a 31.5 kV electrical network via a 28.5 km overhead line. Property covers a unified operation license of 3,995.81 ha. Discovered by Stratex in 2007 and fully acquired by Centerra in 2013; commercial production achieved in May 2020. Flowsheet is based on an 11,000 tpd heap leach operation including primary and secondary crushing, heap stacking, and an ADR plant. Life of mine optimization study underway to evaluate residual leaching and low-grade oxide inclusion.
