Conventional truck-shovel open-pit copper and gold mine and process plant. Located approximately 155 km northwest of Prince George, British Columbia, accessed via forest service roads with grid power supplied by B.C. Hydro via a 91-km hydroelectric power line. Property includes 122 claims and one mining lease covering 63,663.3 ha. Silica-saturated alkalic Cu-Au porphyry deposit within the Quesnel Terrane. Acquired by Centerra in October 2016 through the acquisition of Thompson Creek Metals; commercial production achieved in 2014. Process plant designed for 62,500 tpd featuring a gyratory crusher, SAG-ball mill circuit, and flotation. 2025 pre-feasibility study confirmed a life of mine extension of approximately 10 years to 2045.
