Description
As at 17 August 2018
Near-surface copper-gold-silver project in the Altiplano of northwest Argentina at 3,700-4,700 m elevation, ~260 km west of the city of Salta and 40 km east of the Chilean border; discovered in 1999 with 129 holes (~74,201 m) drilled to date. The 2018 RPA mineral resource (effective August 17, 2018) is based on a potential open pit with heap leaching and flotation of oxide, transition and sulphide material; amenable to heap leach extraction with growth opportunities. No material work since July 2020. Slated for transfer to the Centauri Minerals spin-out (with Aguas Calientes and four early-stage properties) under the October 2025 share transfer agreement, expected to close in H1-2026; the Initial Raise will fund an updated NI 43-101 technical report and a 2026 geochemistry/geophysics program to advance the project to drill-ready status.
