Sinopec's chemicals segment, among the world's largest petrochemical producers. 2025 ethylene output was 15,279 thousand tonnes, up 13.5% year-on-year, with major ethylene capacity additions at Zhenhai (1.5 Mtpa), Henan (1 Mtpa), Maoming, and Qilu.
